UPDATE – Mental Health Care Power of Attorney

February 8, 2016 Edmunds Law No comments exist

A quick update to the proposed changes to the Mental Health Care Power of Attorney in Arizona.  As you will recall, the proposed change will prevent a person suffering from an incapacity from revoking a power of attorney until they have recovered.

The bill SB1169 passed the Senate’s Health and Human Services Committee on February 4.  We now wait for the final vote from the full legislature and the signature of the Governor.  Contact your representatives and make sure that your voice is heard.
